Get away for a week with friends for adventure in Northern California! Adventure Camp is Young Life's rustic camp, nestled in the mountains of Santa Cruz, CA. There will be all-camp activities, daily "clubs," all-you-can-eat food, and much more! Campers room together with others from their school and their Young Life leaders.​


How do I sign up?  A $40 Deposit will save your spot! You can make that payment online or send a check to the Young Life office at: Young Life Northwest Valley, 4318 W. Michigan Ave., Glendale, AZ 85308.

You can sign up one of two ways:

  1. Sign up online

  2. Contact the Young Life office (younglife.nwv@gmail.com) with the following info:
  • Camper name (first and last)
  • Gender
  • Grade
  • Name of school
  • Parent email address
  • Any special dietary restrictions

Departure:   Saturday, June 2 - Check In at 10 am
                     Chick- fil- A Deer Valley

Return: We will be returning to the departure location around 11 PM on Friday, June 8th.


Check In: Check-in will begin at 10 am
  • Full payment due.
  • 1 copy of the Consent Form is due upon check-in if not done online.  To speed up the check-in process, you can email the completed health form to

What to Pack:
  • All packe in small luggage!!!
  • Money for 3 meals on the way and 2 meals on the return trip
  • Clothes (short, pants, shirts, sweatshirt, jacket, socks, undergarments for 7 days). Weather fluctuates!
  • Water shoes or chacos
  • Sleeping bag, blanket and pillow
  • Flashlight, spending money, snacks and water bottle
  • Closed-toed shoes for events
  • Swim suit and beach towel and bath towel
  • sunscreen, chap stick and bugspray
  • inhaler or any current medications
  • Bible, journal and pen
  • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
  • Girls: feminine products, make up, hair dryer, etc...don't expect to borrow
  • Plastic grocery/garbage bags (for dirty clothes) or laundry bag
  • Camera (Optional)


Conduct: No alcohol/drug use and/or possession will be allowed. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices. Any contraband will be collected and may be destroyed, and campers are subject to disciplinary action, which may require early departure from camp.  Any use of unsafe, threatening, or hateful language, even in jest, can result in a camper being sent home.


Transportation: Transportation will be provided by A-1 Van Rental driven by leaders over 21 years of age.
 

Electronics policy: Campers will be allowed to have electronics on the bus to camp. All technology (mobile phones, iPods, iPads, etc.) will be collected upon arrival at Lost Canyon and secured in the camp safe to prevent your child’s week to be ruined by theft. All electronics will be returned upon departure. We recommend that campers bring calling cards to call home.


Cancellations: Cancellations received by April 1 will receive a full refund. After April 1 no refunds to contract we have to pay for.
